The Sentry Tower Software team is responsible for developing robotic systems that provide force protection [...] monitoring the perimeter of secure areas, land or sea, for approaching people, vehicles, and vessels. Our Product:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus in Manufacturing to join our rapidly growing team in Irvine. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining software for current and next generation Sentry Tower systems. You will be responsible for developing automated test suites and user‑friendly interfaces to streamline hardware verification and issue diagnosis for non‑technical users.

You will implement robust error‑capturing mechanisms that provide actionable insights for efficient troubleshooting and quality assurance.

• Develop automated test suites to verify hardware functionality and performance.
• Create user‑friendly interfaces to facilitate issue diagnosis for non‑technical users.
• Collaborate with hardware and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of testing tools.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks to enhance.callbacks efficiency and reliability.

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in full robotics system stack, from integrating sensor technology to robotic movement actuation. Partial stack is okay.
• 6+ years working with Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites and testing frameworks for hardware/software systems.
• Demonstrated experience with hardware/software integration, validation, and debugging.
• Experience working in a cross‑functional environment, collaborating closely with hardware, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

• Experience with Matlab.
• Experience with C or C++.
• Experience with Labview.

US Salary Range: $191,000–$287,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
