Integration Engineer - Onsite in Irvine, CA

Job Description

One of Insight Global’s clients is looking to onboard an Integration Engineer to their team. This individual will be responsible for configuring, developing, and troubleshooting integrations within Mule Soft. They will be working with team members to deliver integration applications and APIs, implement services, frameworks, and be responsible for maintaining integration applications and APIs for all users. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience specializing in Mule Soft and proficiency with Python and web services.

This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity and will be onsite in Irvine, CA.

• 5+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of the Mule Soft Platform (version 4.7 and above)
• Hands‑on experience with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex integration solutions.
• Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Anypoint Manager
• Knowledge of development tools like code repositories
• Understanding of Dev Ops practices
• Advanced testing and debugging, risk mitigation, performance optimization
• Understanding of APIs, RESTful Services, and Microservices, knowledge of other integration patterns
• Excellent communication skills and an aptitude to learn and grow Master's degree in computer science or related field
• Software implementation experience at an enterprise level
• Experience with HL7 and X12 messaging
