The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million people use our text‑to‑speech products to turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio, so they can read faster, read more, and remember more. Speechify’s products include an iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and web app.

Today, nearly 200 people around the globe work on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting. Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and others from Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and top startup founders.

With the growth of our iOS app, we need a Senior iOS Engineer to support our expanding user base and lead exciting new projects. This role is strategic, fast‑paced, and crucial for shaping product decisions and delivering outstanding user experiences.

• Lead key engineering and product decisions.
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
• Work within a dedicated product team.
• Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap.
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.

• Experience building products that scale to a large user base.
• Track record of working on products from inception to traction, responsible for engineering the product.
