POSITION SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Tech II, your day will look like:
The Maintenance Tech 2 works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This technician is responsible for breakdowns and repair of general service production equipment. Independently troubleshoot and diagnose production equipment, source and order parts.
- Diagnose, test, maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment, such as hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and components, variable speed AC and DC motor drives.
- Obey all plant safety rules and procedures at all times, including wearing proper PPE.
- Install, repair and service electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment, production equipment, and any other equipment related to operations or maintaining the facilities.
- Effectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they arise.
- Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, install valve, cylinders, motors, pumps.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures.
- Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules.
- Proven experience as maintenance technician.
- Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies, including precision measurements.
- Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts.
- Ability to utilize meters, gauges, or other test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Ability to work with power tools.
- Knowledge of equipment – identify components on a drawing and work as directed.
- Understanding equipment function – can change out components as directed, basic troubleshooting.
$27.00 - $35.00
WORK SCHEDULEThursday - Sunday (10 hours)
