Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Manufacturing‑Industrial Electrician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and safety protocols.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to support operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Certifications:

• Valid State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master, depending on state requirements).
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
• NFPA 70E Certification is a plus.
• Certification in PLC programming or industrial automation is advantageous. Preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.
• Experience with 480V systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.

Skills and

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary range for this position is $45-$55 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job‑related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
