Service Technician – Refrigeration at EMCOR Services Mesa Energy

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high‑quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. • Repair and maintain refrigeration racks one‑on‑one system.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all refrigeration related equipment.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Solid knowledge of building blueprints.
• Willing to mentor and train lower‑level technicians.
• Strong understanding of job site safety.
• Must be organized and able to work under pressure.
• Self‑motivated and work with little supervision.
• Maintain safe work practices in support of OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Valid vehicle operators license.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). i.e., dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.
• Working knowledge of desktop computers and internet‑based programs to perform required annual training.
• Ability to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance.
• This position will require a background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

$48.41 - $56.95 per hour. The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
