Position SummaryParker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. The Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) develops systems for aircraft worldwide, providing primary and secondary flight control systems trusted in both commercial and military applications. Headquartered in Irvine, California, MFCD is a leader in fly-by-wire flight control systems and electrohydraulic products.
As a team member, you will perform maintenance and repair tasks across various areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, air conditioning, and equipment maintenance, with minimal guidance.
Essential Functions- Remove, repair, or relocate machine parts; install air & water lines; align and adjust machines for production.
- Diagnose defects and perform repairs on hydraulic equipment, machine tools, plumbing, and related systems.
- Construct, install, and repair hydraulic test stands and related equipment.
- Operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.
- Fabricate high-pressure tubing and hoses for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform carpentry work including constructing additions, partitions, and benches.
- Assist in planning overhaul and repair operations.
- Check and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment.
- Identify and repair machine malfunctions, including NC machines.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Use precision testing equipment and computer software for creating reports and spreadsheets.
As a Hazardous Material Technician, responsibilities include managing hazardous materials, assisting in spill cleanup, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Job Requirements- Minimum of five years related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability.
- Proficiency with pump and valve overhaul, especially aerospace equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Required tools and ability to operate carpentry, hand, and power tools.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, hydraulics, chemicals, and computer software.
- Hazardous Material Handling Certificate and forklift certification may be required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Pay Range: $31.10/hour - $46.70/hour
