We are looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to lead the effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services. Technicians use multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, painting and roofing. They will be provided a company van, tools and equipment and will be based at their home address using an iPad and iPhone for their daily route.

Our program offers opportunities for skill development through on‑the‑job training as well as professional training and education programs.

Job Summary

Responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely service to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. Utilize a company van and tools to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial properties, buildings, equipment, and grounds. Conduct face‑to‑face relationships with customers to meet their requirements. Apply multiple trade skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, and other necessary skills to solve maintenance problems.

Position

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems (e.g., unclog toilets and drains, repair leaks, replace fixtures).
  • Conduct routine painting, carpentry work, and other tasks to maintain facilities in like‑new condition.
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance as allowed without a license (e.g., replace fixtures, wall switches, outlets).
  • Complete service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
  • Fully utilize technology (tablet, smartphone) to access and complete work orders, submit service reports, quality inspection images, timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs.
  • Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
  • Create a positive climate with the client, provide and generate customer satisfaction, and maintain timely and consistent communication with customers and internal support teams.
  • Obtain and complete required safety and compliance training and attend weekly safety meetings.
  • Provide estimates for larger projects and services required onsite.
  • Complete other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification in landscaping, trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), or specialty floor care, preferred.
  • Two to five years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety policies, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and present information effectively.
  • Ability to complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate status via designated business processes.
  • Experience with handheld devices and business systems or document management software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Daily local travel between properties required.
