As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Specialist in Irvine, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed, primarily driving patrol officer at a commercial office location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete vehicle and foot rounds, and help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will respond to calls for service, document activity, and deliver customer service to tenants and visitors with clear communication.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office floors, lobbies, parking areas, loading and delivery zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe alarm panels, CCTV, and/or other systems as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and escalating concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire-related or weather-related events until relieved by appropriate responders.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and tenant requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
