, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and/or telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, document observations, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service.

Hiring for a Security Officer – Unarmed

• Location: Irvine, California
• Pay rate: $24.31 per hour
• Position Type: Full Time

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, production, and/or perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and lobby areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and notes related to package, mail, and/or document deliveries within the location.

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required as a condition of employment in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
