As a Security Officer - Gated Community Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As an Allied Universal team member assigned to a commercial real estate location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entrances and exits to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while you interact with tenants and visitors to provide exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to deter suspicious activity and report irregularities.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with property management, residents, and visitors to maintain order and address concerns.
• Remain alert and attentive during assigned shifts to deter potential issues and uphold site policies.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
