• Key Responsibilities: The Human Factors R&D Co-Op will assist in user research activities to gather data on user needs, behaviors, and limitations.

• Support task analysis
  , use specification
  , and risk assessments to identify use-related hazards.

• Participate in formative evaluations and usability studies at various stages of product development.

• Help prepare human factors documentation (plans, protocols, reports) in compliance with FDA and IEC 62366 guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical) to incorporate human factors into design controls.

• Contribute to design recommendations by applying ergonomic and usability principles to hardware and software interfaces.

• Assist in analyzing study data and summarizing findings to inform design decisions.

• Use MATLAB or similar data analysis software to clean up and document physiological studies e.g. EMG evaluations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $31.00/hr to $59.00/hr

Pay Transparency
:
The expected pay range for this position is between $31.00 per hour and $59.00 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year;

for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
