Chemist III

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Chemist III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Irvine, CA
. Details for the position are as follows.

• Pay: $45-52/hr.
• 12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and project teams to support analytical development activities and project goals.
• Participate in group and project meetings by presenting experimental data, discussing results, and proposing follow-up experiments.
• Perform phase-appropriate analytical development, including method feasibility, method validation, and stability testing programs.
• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods for pharmaceutical product testing and characterization.
• Analyze and interpret analytical data using statistical tools and software, ensuring accurate and reliable reporting.
• Prepare clear, detailed technical reports, protocols, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Review and evaluate new and innovative analytical methods, providing constructive and critical feedback.
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and company policies including EHS, ethics, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and data integrity in laboratory notebooks, databases, and electronic systems.
• Demonstrate a proactive, energetic, and collaborative approach while learning new techniques and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• M.S. in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with minimum 2 years of experience or B.S. in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with minimum 3-5 years of experience in analysis of pharmaceutical products or pharmaceutical method development and validation with strong report writing, documentation and organization skills.
• Analytical techniques such as GC/HPLC/UPLC with various detectors such as CAD, RI, UV/PDA, GC-FID, particle size distribution, physical appearance, pH meter, turbidimeter, osmometer, viscosity, and rheometry.
