About the RoleAs a Senior R&D Associate, you will work in an interdisciplinary team of life scientists and engineers to help optimize and develop new diagnostic assays across multiple detection methods and target markets. You will design, conduct, analyze, and document experiments supporting the development of new molecular assays from feasibility through validation for the Fluxergy platform.

- Work with an interdisciplinary team to support the development of new diagnostic assays using various detection methods for various target markets.
- Perform extensive sequence analysis and design qPCR assays, validating designs and concepts.
- Develop and maintain documentation of product development per company procedures.
- Bring products from design to validation under Design Control per FDA 21
CFR
820 regulations, preparing appropriate reports. - Communicate effectively and collaborate within the department, leading by example as a team player.
- Follow project timelines and manage time to ensure deliverables meet target dates.
- Run experiments in the lab, including pipetting, biosafety cabinet work, and using various laboratory tools and equipment.
- Analyze data generated from experiments, using numerical methods and generating thoughtful interpretations.
- Participate in design validation activities, including clinical trials, in‑house trials, data analysis, and report writing.
- BS or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience; at least 1 year of lab experience, preferably in the biotech industry.
- Hands‑on lab experience.
- Demonstrated experience in time management and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with experimental design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to make detailed observations, review, analyze, and interpret data.
