About the Position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts by delivering exceptional service, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This role combines relationship management, consultative selling, and strategic account planning to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and success.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, product customization, or B2B sales cycles.
  • Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the team sports market (schools, leagues, clubs, DTC).
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Net Suite ERP or similar systems is preferred and highly valuable in this role.
  • Positive attitude and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge/connection to youth sports.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the full owner of assigned key accounts, overseeing both the sales relationship and operational execution from order placement through delivery.
  • Manage the complete order book for each account, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and alignment with customer timelines and expectations.
  • Partner closely with internal production, logistics, and service teams to ensure all operational components of the account run smoothly and proactively.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Prospect new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and market research.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews to evaluate performance, elevate opportunities, and align on future growth strategies.
  • Coordinate internally with sales operations, customer service, marketing, and product teams to support customer initiatives.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on account activity, pipeline status, and revenue performance.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Address customer challenges with urgency and professionalism, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Monitor account health and proactively mitigate risks related to customer satisfaction or retention.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and account activity in CRM systems.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to support lead generation efforts and build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Pay & Benefits

Score Sports offers competitive pay and benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k). Base Salary $80,000.00 - $ annually, depending on experience.
