As part of SEW (Smart Energy Water), we are now expanding our deep and local footprint into the US market and are seeking an ownership‑driven Business Growth Development Leader to spearhead this global SEW‑Tonic Worldwide growth.
SummaryThis BD person will be responsible for not only amplifying sales with utility clients but also representing tonic’s creative and digital services with Non‑Energy & Utilities clients to open business growth opportunities in North America.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate leads for SEW‑Tonic Worldwide in the US market.
- Responsible for monthly business growth targets and closures.
- Understand business offerings and have a platform and consultative approach for clients digital marketing requirement, representing tonic as an expert in the region for digital marketing.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision‑makers in marketing, brand, and digital teams.
- Effectively present Tonic’s digital marketing capabilities, including creative, performance, and content solutions.
- Work closely with SEW‑Tonic’s Global Teams in Mumbai‑based pitch and delivery teams to coordinate proposals, presentations, and project scoping.
- Drive outbound and inbound business development activities (networking, events, Linked In outreach, industry connects, etc.).
- Understand client needs and translate them into tailored solutions aligned with Tonic’s offerings.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and ensure regular reporting on business development activities.
- Stay updated with US digital marketing trends, competitor activity, and client expectations.
- 3–6 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in digital marketing or advertising.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (performance marketing, creative strategy, social media, content, etc.).
- Ability to work in office; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
- Prior experience in US client acquisition or working with US‑based clients is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently while staying closely connected to the Mumbai team.
- Strong networking skills and ability to leverage industry connections.
