This position will help grow sales and build client relationships in fast-growing areas like transmission & distribution, energy storage, and data centers. Working closely with the VP of Sales, you'll connect with customers, find new business opportunities, and collaborate with our team to deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client energy usage and recommend tailored solutions
- Present and explain renewable energy products and services, including financial and environmental benefits
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry partners
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and quotes in collaboration with technical and project teams
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and report regularly on pipeline progress and forecasts
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., tax incentives, tariffs), and competitor offerings
- Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and networking events
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in B2B technical sales — preferably in power systems, electrical infrastructure, or industrial equipment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with EPCs, utilities, developers, or large commercial clients, with CRM and sales analytics tools
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and an entrepreneurial approach
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
