Inventory Clerk

Essential Functions

• Monitors and communicates stock level requirements to management.
• Coordinates and ensures supply room coverage with other supply room managers.
• Manages stock control including but not limited to documenting, rotating, storing, retrieving, and delivering goods.
• Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met.
• Ensures proper storage and handling of inventory.
• Ensures cleanliness and proper organization of the stockrooms.
• Files product requisitions and order forms and distribute to corresponding personnel every morning.
• Creates efficient space utilization plans for incoming new products.
• Notifies management of shortages and other issues that could affect product availability.
• Coordinates and conducts special requests upon management approval.
• Responsible for cycle counting procedures.
• Makes appropriate decisions to resolve issues that arise with products.
• Ensures department policies and procedures are followed.
• Participates in continuous improvement and development of policies and procedures.
• Oversees miscellaneous duties and orders (i.e. office supply ordering, porcelain fulfillment, first-aid replenishment, etc.)
• Stocks and organizes products into its properly identified location and utilizing First-In First-Out method.
• Performs other related duties and projects as required by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stock room or inventory experience a plus.
• Minimum one (1) year related work experience.
• Customer service skills a plus.

• Flexibility to work a Saturday shift and overtime when required.

Pay range: $/hr.
