[Responsibilities]
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager.
- Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Prepare and package individual place settings.
- Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerator or other storage areas.
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas
- Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
- Cook and prepare a variety of food products according to the Daily Prep List.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Assist in training new fellow employees according to up-to-date training manual.
[Qualifications]
- Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Genuinely friendly and positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Standing and walking during entire shift
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
