Associate Scientist

Contract: 6 months (with potential extension or conversion)

Pay Rate: $24–$25/hr

A pharmaceutical client of ours is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join their Department of Local Delivery Translational Sciences. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on lab experience who are eager to learn, proactive, and thrive in a fast‑paced research environment. The team is supportive, provides training where needed, and focuses on cell-based assays that advance biologic therapeutics.

• Perform cell-based assays and ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
• Conduct flow cytometry and cell culture experiments, including handling human primary cells (PBMCs)
• Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot immunoassays
• Order lab supplies, maintain instruments, and manage experimental materials
• Contribute to other laboratory assignments as needed

• Cell Culture – experience with primary human cells preferred
• Flow Cytometry / FACS – ability to perform assays and analyze results
• Strong understanding of basic cell biology and immunology

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, or related field
• 0–1 year of industry experience; academic lab experience is acceptable
• New graduates with strong lab skills and relevant coursework are encouraged to apply
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team
