Position Summary
Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 leader in motion and control technologies, invites you to join Parker Aerospace’s Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD). The MFCD supplies advanced flight control systems for military aircraft worldwide, headquartered in Irvine, California. As a Quality Lead, you will manage the quality function at the facility, ensuring all quality programs, policies and standards meet company and U.S. Government regulations.
Responsibilities- Define quality requirements and coordinate TQM efforts across business units.
- Develop and implement new quality management methods, audit systems and meet ISO
9000 and customer requirements. - Provide quality leadership to achieve facility quality objectives, interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Maintain quality assurance activities for purchased materials, equipment and parts; manage supplier audits and corrective actions.
- Utilize automated systems to proactively plan, implement and track quality systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business or technical discipline; eight or more years progressive manufacturing operations experience.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and experience in internal/external AS9100 audits.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred; proven data‑driven improvement experience.
- Leadership experience with advanced project planning, team building and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication and continuous improvement mindset.
- Pay Range: $120,500 to $210,950 annually;
Annual Incentive Program. - 401(k) plan with 100% match on the first 5% of pay; defined‑contribution retirement plan 3% of pay.
