Part Time Interim Registered Nurse

Location:

Emo Health Centre

Reports to:

Chief Nursing Executive

Salary: $39.07/hr to $56.00/hr

Qualifications
  • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current CPR certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)
  • Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing through CAN – preferred
  • Graduate of a recognized ICU program acceptable to the Corporation
  • Demonstrated strong nursing practice, skill and judgement
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Proficiency with all computer systems and applications
  • Adherence to Riverside Health Care’s Code of Conduct
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate nursing care to assigned clients, patients, and residents in accordance with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses
  • Function as a staff nurse or team leader
  • Accept shift rotation and assignments on other nursing units in accordance with staffing needs
  • Delegate, supervise, and evaluate patient care of RPNs and HCAs
  • Carry out all work assignments safely and in compliance with relevant acts, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Comply with occupational health & safety and workers’ rights and responsibilities
  • Perform any other duties delegated by the manager or supervisor
Hours of Work
  • Combination of 8‑ and 12‑hour shifts
Position Availability
  • Commencement:
    November 21, 2025
  • End:
    Approximately May 21, 2027
