Global Marketing Manager, Cataract Equipment | Irvine, CA

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to drive marketing objectives, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning, pricing; target product profile & evidence generation and dissemination; brand and communication strategy
• Successfully using the Launch Excellence framework to launch new products and line extensions, leading brand-building activities, driving marketing plans & promotions in partnership with cross-functional partners and regional marketing teams
• Partnering across JJV to ensure clear understanding of professional VOC and market trends to inform the marketing strategies and ensure JJV is addressing market unmet needs to drive sustained growth
• Translating customer needs into product design requirements to develop differentiated product concepts and plans
• Lead end to end product cycle including development and execution of LCM strategy

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA equivalent strongly preferred)
• At least 6 years professional experience including 3-5 years of experience in marketing or healthcare
• Ability to effectively connect with customers (surgeons) and internal partners
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to champion product innovation and promote change through indirect influence
• Demonstrate strong business analytics and financial competence
• Ability to identify emerging trends in health, technology, or related fields
• Ability to prioritize and successfully lead complex project work streams across multiple dimensions, with internal and external partners

• Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with regional groups
• Medical device, ophthalmology experience
• New product development experience
