Position Summary

Operate all assigned equipment, follow and oversee the standard work according to department SOPs. Work with manufacturing leaders to establish, implement, maintain and enhance standard work in the area. Conduct training for operators on standard work and troubleshooting techniques, evaluate training effectiveness, recommend changes, and contribute to continuous improvement programs such as LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machinery, including start/stop, cleaning, and restarting after failures.
  • Perform troubleshooting for machine/line stoppage, repairs, and escalation for technical support.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance during downtime and partner with operations, mechanics, and engineers as needed.
  • Monitor production quality and take action according to standard work / SOP.
  • Maintain documentation such as batch records, log books, PM and DM following good documentation practices.
  • Train staff on operation and maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Align peripheral equipment, perform set‑up and start‑up for code changes, and complete required documentation.
  • Ensure product quality through inspection, dimensional and functional testing.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Automation, Process Engineering, and Quality departments to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
Setup and Alignments
  • Align peripheral equipment or arrange assistance and complete documentation.
  • Perform set‑up and start‑up for code changes according to equipment manuals and product specifications.
Operation and Monitoring
  • Operate and maintain machinery; start and stop as needed, including cleaning and restarting after electrical failures.
  • Feed materials, inspect, pack, and document per plant procedures.
  • Monitor machine performance within validated parameters and adhere to process validation and safety regulations.
  • Comply with operational standards for efficiency, production, scrap, downtime, and cycle time.
  • Manage waste, verify scrap, and package products in double plastic bags with proper identification and hermetic seal.
  • Prepare information boards and maintain production records or graphs to monitor productivity and trends.
  • Sanitize work tables, conveyors, and inspection tables.
Product Quality Control
  • Identify, report, and address deviations in process parameters or incidents affecting product quality.
  • Perform dimensional, functional, and special tests according to specifications and SOPs.
  • Visually and instrumentally inspect products to detect defects.
Documentation Reporting
  • Maintain records of critical machine parameters and complete required documentation.
  • Manually or electronically document required information, including parameters, batches, and production data.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance including cleaning, greasing, and lubricating machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery.
  • Manage and secure provided tools.
Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ensure machinery and systems meet industry standards.
Collaboration and Training
  • Notify and inform Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering personnel of issues affecting machine operation.
  • Collaborate with departments to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Train other staff on operation and maintenance of equipment.
