Production Manager, Operations Engineer
Shift - 7 AM to 3.30 PM - Monday to Friday
Max Hourly Pay - $34 / Hour

Ideally looking for candidates with experience in biologicals, chemistry, or liquids. With the complexity of our products, it might be hard for someone that has not worked in this environment.
This position is for a Production Planner 1 that focuses on coordinating and optimizing packaging production schedules to ensure execution of the production plan based on Global Planning inputs. The involves analyzing demand, managing inventory levels and working closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiently. Using SAP MRP/scheduling tools, the planner with monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, inventory, capacity, yields, scrap, and product life cycles.
- Maintain and establish production schedules (ERP system or manual Kanban) with input from key departments including Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Marketing, and Supply Planning.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Assurance buyers to prevent material shortages.
- Ensure optimal production flow through finite scheduling, data analysis, and resolution of routine issues.
- Generate and analyze data, run reports, and provide scheduling recommendations.
- Resolve production schedule messages and issues raised by production personnel.
- Manage routine to moderately complex scheduling activities with limited scope.
- Seek supervisor guidance for non-routine issues or escalations.
- Follow established processes, work instructions, and company policies.
- Review work for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop reports and tools to improve workflow efficiency and scheduling effectiveness.
- Ensures packaging production schedules are executable, material-ready, and aligned with Global Planning demand.
- Maintains accurate plans while coordinating with Production, Purchasing, and Supply Assurance to prevent downtime and material shortages.
- Utilizes SAP MRP and finite scheduling tools to improve schedule adherence, optimize capacity, and balance inventory.
- Analyzes KPIs—including yields, scrap, and product life cycle risk—to identify constraints early and protect customer deliveries.
- Supports continuous improvement through reporting, schedule message resolution, and workflow enhancements that strengthen planning accuracy and production flow.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management, or related field.
- APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems or in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
