Cable Assembly Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete IEI 90-day on-the-job training and achieve required skill level
• Perform wiring, cable harnessing, and mechanical assemblies to customer specifications
• Use small hand tools including crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
• Fabricate cable and wiring harnesses per NASA-STD-8739.4 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards
• Apply labels accurately and complete box builds per customer requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wiring, cable, or harness assembly
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, assembly prints, parts lists, and procedures
• Proficient with manual and automatic crimpers, crimping dies, and wire strippers

• Ability to walk, sit, stand, climb, and move throughout the work area
• Occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry 1–30 pounds

Vision Requirement:
Annual eye exam required due to precision assembly

ITAR document required

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 5am - 6am start time, 4/10 schedule

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour
