- Perform a variety of welding, machine operating, machine shop, fitting tasks, top and sub assembly of microelectronics assemblies, laser marking, glass pressing/blowing, brazing, and other mechanical work to meet company and departmental objectives.
- Manufacture and assemble metal fabrications (ferrous and non-ferrous) using appropriate equipment and processes.
- Maintain a consistent standard of work to comply with Quality Assurance regulations.
- Operate various specialty machinery and equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve function, efficiency, and quality.
- Ensure training is obtained to maintain current knowledge of regulations, procedures, and processes required for the job.
- Respect contractual deadlines (Turn Around Time); assist in training less experienced staff; wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- May be assigned to assist other departments.
- Emphasize safety and cleanliness by maintaining organized workstations and ensuring proper use of safety equipment.
- May perform other related responsibilities.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule and that chemicals are within expiration limits.
Education: High school diploma or GED. Vocational training or apprenticeships in welding or equivalent related field experience.
- Minimum of 7 years' applicable experience.
- Proficient in a variety of welding and fitting tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, job travelers, and weld schedules.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; exercise judgement based on experience to identify and resolve issues with little precedent.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive pay:
Pay Range $29.80/hr to $49.65/hr; annual incentive program. - 401(k) plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay.
