Optics Coater

As an Optical Coater at MKS, you will partner with the engineering and cleaning team to perform coating operations on parts, materials, and components while documenting results. In this role, you will report to the Operations and Manufacturing Manager.

• Performing coating operations of incoming parts, materials, components, and documenting results.
• Coordinating the collection and disposition of coated material.
• Determining or assisting in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for coating/inspection.
• Working from written procedures, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Performing inspection/spectroscopy measurements where necessary.

• Completion of high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
• One or more years of related experience.
• Experience using inspection tools and devices such as calipers, micrometers, Keyence microscope, Height gauges, UV/VIS, etc.

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally move/position objects up to 35 lbs.
• Regularly require manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at, and above shoulder level.

Hourly Pay Range: $15.28 - 28.38 USD. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
