Material Handler (EWD Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday 5:30am–5:30pm) – Job Description

Summary:
You support the company’s mission by applying expertise and driving innovation, efficiency and sustainability in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Perform production related tasks in an FDA and cGMP regulated environment
- Move, reposition and/or transfer pallets
- Load, unload raw materials and pack manufactured products
- Perform cleaning and general housekeeping activities, including restocking of supplies as directed
- Utilize good documentation practices to record batch data
- Perform visual product inspections
- Complete assigned training within established deadlines
- Assist other product lines or departments as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
The job function listed is not exhaustive and may include responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. General:

Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines. Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. May require some limited judgement in resolving problems. Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, lead and peers.
Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must read, write and speak English to the extent necessary to receive training and perform job functions
- 0–0.5 years related experience required
- Physical: seated work, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds; varied standing and walking

Physical DemandsThe following are typical requirements, not universal:
- Light work – Exerting up to 30 lbs infrequently; up to 10 lbs frequently
- Reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling; occasional standing and walking
- Exposures to moving parts on occasion
$20.80 per hour
The compensation range reflects factors such as skill, experience, and location. Final decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
