The Role
This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for participating in a team effort to assemble medical products and maintaining a steady production flow. This position will report to the Director of Operations and the Production Manager.
Responsibilities andJob Duties
Under the guidance of the R&D and Production Manager, this position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Solder and de-solder electronic components for through-hole and SMT assembly boards.
- Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable harnesses.
- Modify (s) on prototypes and/or products as needed.
- Assist in packaging products for shipment or inventory.
- Assist with maintaining inventory and general housekeeping of the work area.
- Working with prototypes/products for modification as needed.
- Assist the R&D team to assemble prototypes, and/or fabrications.
- Build and make cables and cable harnesses as needed.
- Familiar with and know electronic components.
- Knowledge of ESD and handling electronic boards.
- Responsible for compliance with ESD and ISO.
- The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience with electronic assembly work and utilizing hand-soldering techniques in both through-hole and SMT work.
- The ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus.
- The ability to repair printers is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and quality in all related work.
- Ability to complete projects on time.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products:
Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to perform general physical activities using your arms and legs, and move your whole body.
- The ability to lift, balance, walk, stoop, and move materials.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
