The Role

This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for participating in a team effort to assemble medical products and maintaining a steady production flow. This position will report to the Director of Operations and the Production Manager.

Under the guidance of the R&D and Production Manager, this position will be responsible for the following duties:

• Solder and de-solder electronic components for through-hole and SMT assembly boards.
• Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable harnesses.
• Modify (s) on prototypes and/or products as needed.
• Assist in packaging products for shipment or inventory.
• Assist with maintaining inventory and general housekeeping of the work area.
• Working with prototypes/products for modification as needed.
• Assist the R&D team to assemble prototypes, and/or fabrications.
• Build and make cables and cable harnesses as needed.
• Familiar with and know electronic components.
• Knowledge of ESD and handling electronic boards.
• Responsible for compliance with ESD and ISO.

• The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience with electronic assembly work and utilizing hand-soldering techniques in both through-hole and SMT work.
• The ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus.
• The ability to repair printers is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• A high degree of accuracy and quality in all related work.
• Ability to complete projects on time.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products:
  Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• The ability to perform general physical activities using your arms and legs, and move your whole body.
• The ability to lift, balance, walk, stoop, and move materials.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
