JOB SUMMARYWorks under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well established precedents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Working under the microscopes for long periods of time.
- Handling of small parts and piezoelectric crystals.
- Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques.
- Intermediate mechanical assembly of small parts.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
- High voltage potting and high voltage testing.
Pay rate: $18.90 - $25.20/hr based on years of electromechanical experience.
1st shift: 5:30 AM – 2 PM
QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE — LEVEL 3: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three or more years of related electronics assembly experience. J-STD-001 Certification preferred. The company must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS — LEVEL 2: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS — LEVEL 1: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- REASONING ABILITY — LEVEL 1: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
