Overview
Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Assistant Practice Manager to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.
Pay range
: $34.25 - $50.15/hr

As The Assistant Practice Manager, You Will- Direct and supervise associates.
- Create an organizational environment and value systems that stimulate morale and productivity of the workforce and its leadership.
- Collaborate with training and clinical staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
- Coach and lead through effective feedback to associates through the supervisory team.
- Monitor and evaluate operations on a daily basis.
- Partner with the Practice Manager to develop action plans to maximize hospital efficiency and supervise the implementation of improvements.
- Be responsible for all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination, and the maintenance of personnel records.
- Partner with the Practice Manager in budget preparation and ensure revenue targets and training goals are met.
- Review and approve employee schedules to accommodate the patient needs of the hospital.
- Ensure the adequacy and adjust inventory levels of all goods and supplies necessary for the operation of the hospital.
- Construct and submit timely and accurate reports on a daily/weekly/monthly or as required basis.
- Maintain familiarity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Build rapport with clients and referring DVMs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with the hospital and services provided.
- Minimize hospital liability through ongoing risk management review.
- Investigate unsafe situations and complaints.
- Work with the Practice Manager in creating and maintaining a positive team environment.
