** About the Role
** The Bracing Platform Director will serve as a senior leader and architect of Össur’s long-term bracing portfolio vision. This executive role holds full accountability for defining, leading, and delivering the global bracing platform strategy and ensuring the business is positioned for sustainable growth, market leadership, and competitive differentiation. As a core member of the Strategic Marketing leadership team, this individual will shape the future of the Bracing division by driving bold innovation, market-driven strategy, and enterprise-wide alignment.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing, this role will provide executive leadership to the Global Product Management and Market Analytics functions, serving as a visible champion of portfolio excellence, organizational development, and customer-centric innovation.
** What You’ll Do
** Strategic & Enterprise Leadership
* Own the creation, alignment, and execution of the global Bracing platform strategy, balancing financial performance, and commercial advantage.
* Define multi-year portfolio roadmaps that secure market leadership and fuel profitable growth.
* Provide partnership to the leadership team by delivering forward-looking insights and recommendations on global bracing market dynamics.
* Shape M&A, licensing, and development strategies to expand the bracing portfolio and accelerate Össur’s market position.
Portfolio Excellence & Market Impact
* Drive portfolio lifecycle management, ensuring disciplined investment prioritization and optimal allocation of resources.
* Lead the development of business cases and stage-gate decisions, aligning product platforms with evolving market needs and customer expectations.
* Ensure differentiation in Össur’s bracing platforms by embedding quality, sustainability, and customer experience as core value drivers.
* Champion global go-to-market excellence, ensuring seamless commercial readiness, consistent brand positioning, and measurable impact.
Cross-Functional Influence & Execution
* Act as the primary strategic link between Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial organizations.
* Build alignment across regions to ensure global strategies are locally relevant and executable.
* Anticipate and resolve complex cross-functional challenges, balancing speed, risk, and long-term value creation.
* Foster collaboration that elevates quality, efficiency, and profitable growth across the product lifecycle.
Organizational & Team Leadership
* Provide visionary leadership to the Global Product Management and Market Analytics teams, setting a high bar for accountability, and execution.
* Attract, develop, and retain talent capable of scaling with the organization’s ambitions.
* Build a culture of strategic agility, data-driven decision making, and entrepreneurial problem solving.
* Empower teams to operate with autonomy while delivering against objectives.

** Qualifications & Experience
* 10+ years of progressive leadership in medical devices or healthcare, with direct experience in portfolio strategy, upstream marketing, and global product management.
* Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, influencing at the executive level, and delivering results in complex, matrixed environments.
* Deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, payer/reimbursement landscapes, and clinical evidence requirements.
* Proven ability to translate insights into strategy, strategy into execution, and execution into measurable business growth.
