Aswegrowandsplitresponsibilitiesbetween Product Development and Sourcing ,thisnewlydefinedrolewillfocusonstreamliningvendorpartnerships,optimizingcost,andbringingconsistencyandexcellencetoourbootssourcingoperations.
Thisleaderwillmanagetwodirectreportsandworkcloselywithcross-functionalteamsincluding
Merchandising,Product Development,and Designtodeliverhigh-qualityproductthatmeetsbrandstandards,financial targets,andseasonaldemand.
- Leadend-to-endsourcingstrategyandexecutionforthebootscategory,ensuringstrongvendorpartnerships,costoptimization,andon-time delivery
- Manageandmentorasmallsourcingteam(Sourcing Manage rand Associate Sourcing Manager –Accessories),fosteringacultureofaccountability,collaboration,andcontinuousimprovement
- Overseeallcostingexercises,suppliernegotiations,andmarginanalysistosupportmarginexpansionandseasonalfinancialtargets
- Collaboratewithinternalteamstoalignsourcingtimelineswithproductdevelopmentcalendarsandmerchandisingstrategy
- Analyzeproductiontimelines,capacityplanning,anddeliveryschedulestoensureoperationalefficiencyandresponsiveness
- Partnerwiththe
VPofSourcingtoevaluatesupplierperformanceandimplementimprovementstiedtoquality,cost,compliance,andethicalsourcing
- 10-15yearsofexperienceinsourcingorsupplychainmanagement,ideallywithinfootwearoraccessories
- Proventrackrecordofdrivingcostefficienciesandmanagingdirectvendorrelationships(factory-directexperiencepreferred)
- Strongcostingandmarginownershipbackground–someonewhocanrolluptheirsleevesanddothemath
- Knowledgeofglobalsourcingmarkets,particularly in
Asia(China,Vietnam,India,etc.) - Experienceworkingacrossbigboxretailaccountsandunderstandingretailercompliancestandards
- Highleveloforganization,attentiontodetail,andaproactive,solutions-first mindset
- Strong Excelskillsandfamiliaritywithsourcingtoolsandsystems(PLM,ERP,etc.)
- Acollaborative,"A-type"personalitywhothrivesinafast-paced,high-growthenvironment
Thisisahigh-impactrolewiththeabilitytoshapethesourcingfunctionforourflagshipcategory.
Withexposuretoexecutiveleadership,vendornetworks,andcross-functional partners,theDirectorof
Sourcingwillplayakeyroleindeliveringqualityproductatscalewhileevolvingoursourcingprocessesforfuturegrowth.
