Maintenance Manager
Overview
Under general supervision, the Maintenance Supervisor assists the Director of Environmental Services in overseeing the work of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance staff to support our vision of maintaining the appearance and preservation of our community. The role involves scheduling, directing, and participating in daily specialized maintenance and repairs to the facility, reviewing and inspecting the work of subordinate personnel to ensure effective and efficient performance, and enforcing safety requirements.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the community, assigning, assisting and supervising the day-to-day functions of maintenance personnel, interpreting department policies and procedures, and interfacing with residents and their families regarding maintenance issues.
Full‑Time;
Monday through Friday, with availability on‑call, holidays and weekends. Classification: FLSA Non‑Exempt. Pay range $30 to $35 an hour, depending on experience.
- Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Associates degree and/or completion of trade school preferred.
Some college may be considered in lieu of experience. - Experience/Training
Two years’ prior supervisory experience preferred.
Four to six years’ experience in general or commercial maintenance.
One or more years of supervisory experience preferred. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CFC Certification preferred to perform HVAC work (PA).
CPO certifications may be required.
