We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

- Support day-to-day supply chain and procurement operations by:
- Placing purchase orders
- Tracking deliveries
- Maintaining vendor records
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely material availability
- Collect and analyze data, update reports, and assist with procurement and logistics coordination
- Entry-level role ideal for individuals seeking to grow into procurement or purchasing-focused positions within supply chain
- Must be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or in progress)
- 0 2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, procurement, or related field (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Basic knowledge of Government Procurement processes and FAR/DFARS requirements
- Awareness of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) compliance standards
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Epicor)
- Understanding of procurement processes, supply chain workflows, and vendor management
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and metrics
- Experience preparing and analyzing supply chain reports and KPIs
- Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes and basic cost analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and report formatting
- Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or technology environments
- Exposure to Government Procurement processes and FAR/DFARS requirements
- Understanding of CPSR compliance standards
- Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams
