Supply Planner – Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC – A Yum! Brands Co‑op
Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co‑op, is currently seeking a Supply Planner to join the Central Planning Team. The Central Planning team ensures supply continuity for over $7 B in critical Yum! Brand food and packaging components which support more than 16 000 restaurants and $20 B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, and Habit Burger & Grill in the United States.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
Scope- Approximately 100 food and packaging items ($750 M–1 B annual spend)
- Approx. 25 supplier, plant, and/or item specification transitions annually
- Brand liaison for Habit Burger & Grill
- Assure supply across core and promotional sales, leveraging technology systems (Blue Yonder) to create supply plans and adjust fulfillment forecasts as needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, redistributors, internal procurement, and concept hub teams to ensure consensus, preparedness, and execution.
- Maximize supply flexibility while minimizing cost implications and obsolescence risk; ensure the right products and ingredients are at the right location and time.
- Monitor capacity utilization and mitigate product expiration risk while maintaining network inventory targets and resolving fulfillment plan inaccuracies.
- Communicate and provide ongoing updates to internal procurement, hub program management, and leadership in a timely fashion.
- Identify near‑ and long‑term core capacity risks; evaluate demand and supply scenarios, develop contingencies, and execute mitigation efforts.
- Coordinate supply for core product tests, onboarding/closure of production facilities, new lines at existing facilities, new product specifications, and value‑creation initiatives.
- Spearhead system set‑up and integration in Blue Yonder for Habit; key partner for the Senior Director, Habit Burger & Grill, providing cross‑category updates and promotional insights.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process‑optimization efforts for supply optimization and technology systems (Blue Yonder).

- Cross‑functional brand groups (Operations, Marketing, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Finance)
Minimum of 5 years of business experience, including at least 2 years in supply/fulfillment planning, S&OP, purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, distribution, or inventory management.
Preferable: experience coordinating a supplier base or product distribution, especially for food and/or packaging.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred major in Supply Chain or Supply Management.
- Preferred certifications: APICS CPIM, Six Sigma Green Belt, or ISM CPSM.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.

- Presentation skills suitable for Director/VP levels.
- Strong computer skills:
Microsoft Excel (extremely comfortable modeling, analyzing, and manipulating data), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. - Preferred experience with Blue Yonder Fulfillment Module or another enterprise supply‑chain planning solution (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Logility).
