Employment Attorney- Defense

Position Overview

Our clients are seeking an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to manage and litigate employment-related matters on behalf of employers. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who can independently run cases, maintain client relationships, and handle both single-plaintiff and class action matters from inception through resolution.

• Independently manage employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff cases and class actions
• Defend employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and related employment law issues
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Stay current on California and federal employment law developments

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law on the defense side
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
• Experience handling both single-plaintiff employment matters and class actions

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $350,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
