Duties
  • Assist in eminent domain and inverse condemnation litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and discovery documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Review title and appraisal documents related to real property disputes
  • Support trial preparation and client communication
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across the practice group
  • Handle multiple matters simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to real estate or eminent domain issues
  • Experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and analyzing title documents is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team setting
Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Strong academic performance preferred.

Certifications
  • Admission to the California State Bar (required)
Skills
  • Excellent legal research and writing capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw or Lexis)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage client expectations
