What you will be doing:

• Ensure compliance with and stay up to date on US regulations governing renewable energy projects and the import of equipment.
• Develop legal and commercial solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
• Work with customers to structure solutions tailored to their equipment and project needs.
• Draft a range of contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide internal clients with advice on risk, compliance, and the regulatory environment.
• Manage general legal administrative tasks, including filings in the US.
• Engage with regulators regarding regulatory changes and developments.
• Support M&A, projects, finance, and general corporate law matters.

• Qualified to practice law in the US, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in-house, at a law firm, or in government, with at least 2 years’ post-qualification.
• Proven 3+ years paralegal experience with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
• Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Strong document drafting and commercial negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in project management, capable of handling multiple cases efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Law Degree.
