Overview
Education Attorney (3+ years) – Irvine, CA. This role is with a firm serving public and private K-12 schools, community college districts, and related entities.
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr.
Firm OverviewOur client has experts in every region of California and litigates at every level of state and federal courts and administrative agencies. They serve clients in construction, real estate, manufacturing and education and also public entities across the state.
Role Overview- Manage a caseload of civil litigation files from inception through trial.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience advising public entities on governance, labor and employment, and conducting investigations involving alleged discrimination, harassment, or other misconduct is a plus.
- Juris Doctorate is REQUIRED.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Hybrid environment (2 days in office).
