The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Employment Attorney with a strong background in employment‑based and business immigration (E‑2, H‑1B, L‑1, E‑2, TN, PERM, EB‑1, EB‑2, EB‑3, etc.) to lead and grow this practice area within our firm. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who is eager to take ownership, help build systems and processes, and mentor a growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a caseload of employment‑based immigration matters, including non‑immigrant and immigrant visa petitions.
- Advise corporate clients, investors, and entrepreneurs on U.S. immigration strategy, compliance, and visa options.
- Draft, review, and file petitions and supporting documentation with USCIS, DOL, and DOS.
- Represent clients at USCIS interviews and provide comprehensive preparation and guidance throughout the process.
- Partner with firm leadership to expand the employment‑based practice, develop opportunities for partnerships, develop internal procedures, and build a team.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior attorneys and paralegals.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes, policy updates, and industry trends.
- Participate in marketing, speaking engagements, and relationship‑building initiatives to grow the firm’s business immigration client base.
- J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- 8–10 years of experience practicing employment‑based immigration law.
- Proven track record in managing complex business immigration cases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grow a firm’s practice area.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish or another language) a plus.
