Adams & Martin Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Temporary Paralegal for a law firm in Irvine. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic legal environment, with the potential for increased hours as the firm prepares for upcoming trial work. This role is an in-office role and candidates must be able commute and work in the office located in Irvine.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with checking legal and factual citations for briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and organize hearing binders, ensuring all necessary documents are accurately compiled and tabbed.
• Provide support with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits, drafting summaries, and scheduling logistics.
• Assist with legal filings as needed, including e-filing and preparing documents for court submission.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the legal team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis Nexis) is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
