Our family‑owned boutique firm is expanding into plaintiff employment litigation and we’re looking for an attorney who wants to do purposeful work with a values‑driven team. You’ll handle impactful cases including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and more from intake through resolution, with the autonomy to build strong client relationships and the support of a collaborative legal team.

You’ll manage employment cases throughout their lifecycle, including:

• Representing employees in a wide range of employment‑related claims.
• Conducting thoughtful and thorough client intakes, evaluations and legal advisement.
• Drafting and filing complaints, pleadings, motions and discovery.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Appearing for mediations, hearings, arbitrations and trials.
• Managing case strategy and maintaining proactive, consistent client communication.
• Negotiating settlements and participating in all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
• Staying informed of legal developments in federal, state and local employment law and helping refine best practices.
• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least 3 years of employment law experience.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during deadline‑intensive periods.
• Excellent time management, organization and follow-through.
• A collaborative spirit, high standards and commitment to client care.

• Base salary: $130,000 – $150,000, plus uncapped commission.
