Summary:
As Corporate Contracts Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to support the Sales Executives ensuring that the organization operates within legal boundaries of sales contracts. The resource will require extensive background in contacts management for IT Sales with little to no litigation. The resources will be tasked with drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing the company in with purchasing and selling hardware, services, and solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of local and national laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts while providing legal advice and counsel to the sales organization in areas that include hardware, software, data security, professional services, and other matters.
- Perform legal research and analysis on sales contracts and information technology law.
- Interpret and review vendor and supplier contracts.
- Advise and guide management on legal situations and options on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance and support on various legal issues.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in laws and regulations.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and practices follow legal regulations.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization's interests.
- Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and conflicts.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date legal documentation and records.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in legal counsel.
- Collaborate with other departments and external legal counsel as needed.
- Assist with visa applications and other legal matters.
- Act ethically, with integrity, and contribute to an environment that promotes respect, innovation, and creativity.
- Possess phenomenal communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills required to efficiently work with customers, other attorneys, and internal business units.

Experience:
- Successfully completed law school, passed the state bar exam, and have a completed Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
- Be an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate IT Sales required.
Skills:
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication).
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a workspace and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift, in an upward motion, a minimum of 45 pounds.
- Requires driving and flying, locally and overnight, to customer, vendor, and company locations and events.
- This is an in‑office position.

- $210,000 - $250,000 with a $10,000/A bonus.
- Compensation will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, experience, relevant education, and training.
