Litigation Attorney

Description We have partnered closely with this well-respected Orange County defense firm for many years and have made multiple successful placements with the team. They are now seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of defense experience to join their growing practice.

This role offers sophisticated casework, meaningful responsibility, and a manageable billable requirement, making it an excellent long-term opportunity. Responsibilities + Manage complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution (A-Z) + Handle enterprise-level cases + Take and defend depositions + Draft and argue motions + Prepare matters for trial + Make court appearances as needed Qualifications + JD from an accredited law school + Active and in-good-standing California Bar license + 5+ years of civil litigation experience preferred (open to strong candidates with 3+ years) + Experience managing cases independently + Comfortable in a fast-paced defense practice + Smart, driven, and proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills Role Details + Billable requirement: 1,750 hours + Practice focus:

Requirements - Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of California.

- Proven experience in civil litigation and personal injury defense.

- Exceptional skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

- Strong knowledge of discovery processes and litigation procedures.

- Ability to manage multiple cases with efficiency and organization.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.

- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.

- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and attention to detail in all work.
