Senior Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA / San Jose, CA / Colorado Springs, CO. Candidate must have strong expertise in managing and supporting enterprise IAM platforms, including SSO, authentication services, and IGA systems.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Managing enterprise SSO, authentication, and IGA platforms to ensure secure and uninterrupted identity services for users and applications.
• Delivering advanced L3/L4 troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution for complex authentication, federation, and governance issues.
• Architecting and onboarding new applications into the SSO and IGA ecosystem while maintaining alignment with enterprise security standards.
• Implementing system upgrades, performance tuning, and configuration enhancements to maintain platform stability and strong security posture.
• Developing custom enhancements, automation components, and RESTful integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional security and engineering teams to strengthen authentication mechanisms and evolve IAM frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 Years of experience required.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in managing IAM platforms including SSO, multifactor authentication, and IGA systems with the ability to troubleshoot complex identity issues.
• Proven capability in developing Java‑based enhancements, microservices, and API integrations to support authentication workflows and platform automation.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
