IT Consultant, IT Project Manager
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA
. Candidate must be able to lead Scrum execution for security-focused initiatives while guiding teams through Agile practices and cross‑team coordination.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and enforce Agile practices across security-focused teams, ensuring clear goals, ownership, and impediment removal.
- Manage Jira workflows, dashboards, and metrics (burn‑down/up, velocity, CFD) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross‑team planning in scaled Agile settings (e.g., Scrum‑of‑Scrums/PI planning) to align dependencies and delivery.
- Partner with security and IAM stakeholders to prioritize backlog items related to AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and access controls.
- Enable secure delivery by facilitating discussions on session management (e.g., Strong
DM), least‑privilege, and zero‑trust practices. - Mentor engineers and product owners on Agile ways of working, fostering collaboration, conflict resolution, and outcome‑focused delivery.
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Candidate will have 8–10 years of experience working in Agile environments with security-focused delivery.
- Must demonstrate strong expertise in AWS IAM, cloud security concepts, and secure access management.
- Candidate must be proficient in leading Scrum teams using Jira, including managing dashboards, metrics, and scaled Agile practices.

Pay Details$45.00 to $53.00 per hour
