Insider Threat Program Lead

As part of the Global Protection and Security (GP&S) team, you will spearhead initiatives to detect, investigate, and mitigate insider risks to safeguard the assets, data, and reputation of Accenture.

Create analytical assessments focused on insider threat developments and present your findings to senior leadership.

Conduct comprehensive open-source research to support investigations, utilizing a diverse range of data sources, and maintain thorough documentation of case management.

Formulate and enhance detection use cases to bolster the company's capacity in identifying insider risk scenarios. Serve as a key resource on insider threat methodologies, contributing to broader security initiatives and incident management.

Collaborate with various stakeholders across Accenture's security organization, as well as team members from information security, HR, legal, and recruitment, to foster a well-rounded insider risk program.

Utilize your network of contacts in both the public and private sectors to stay informed about emerging insider risk trends.

Participate in the creation and delivery of insider threat awareness training for employees.

Assist in the identification, assessment, and implementation of technology solutions related to insider risk.

Uphold strict confidentiality and comply with all legal and privacy regulations.

• Must have flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as necessary due to urgent situations.

• At least 5 years of experience in counterintelligence or insider risk investigations and programs.

Bachelor's degree, ideally in cybersecurity, computer science, criminal justice, international relations, intelligence studies, or a related area.

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, insider threat analysis, law enforcement investigations, and intelligence analysis.

Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to discern patterns, anomalies, and trends within extensive datasets.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of insider threat frameworks like the NITTF Insider Threat Maturity Framework or CISA guidelines is a plus.

Experience in handling investigations involving sensitive or confidential information is preferred.

Certifications related to insider threat, such as Certified Insider Threat Program Manager (CITPM) or Certified Insider Threat Analyst (CITA), are advantageous.

The role location will be determined during the hiring process. Compensation varies and is based on a variety of factors including office location and experience level.
