Job Details:
Title:
Desktop Support / Field Service Technician / Computer Driving Technician.
Location:
Irvine, CA (We hire for many locations in the US).
Type of Job:
Long term Contract / Contract to Permanent.
Job Role/Duties:
- Provide service to customers by traveling to various locations from the pickup parts location.
- Visit business offices and houses to repair, troubleshoot, and break-fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Travel using personal car to provide service; travel radius of 50-70 miles from the pickup parts location.
- Maintain professional communication and appearance.
- Be prepared for overtime work and extensive driving (up to 300 miles per week).
Required Skills:
- A+ Certification mandatory (training or expired status accepted).
- Dell or any product manufacturer certification is a plus.
- Good experience working on laptops and desktops.
- Experience with break/fix.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
- Background check and driving record required after job offer.
- Complete Dell certification training (free, online).
- Read and agree to company terms and conditions for contract.
- Pay paid biweekly for approved hours.
- Mileage reimbursed; discuss details with recruiter.
- Plan for backup vehicle in case of breakdown.
Pay Details / Other Details:
- Standard pay rate and good mileage reimbursement.
- Looking for commitment technicians who are an asset to the company.
- 48‑hour feedback turnaround for each application.
